Even domestic cooking oil and animal fats can be used as biodiesel feedstock. Biodiesel contains no petroleum and can be used as fuel, either pure or mixed with diesel.
Bioethanol is an alternative fuel. The raw material produced by the fermentation of sugar, starch or cellulose containing agricultural products such as sugar beet, corn, wheat and woody plants, is mixed with a certain percentage gasoline. Bioethanol is used in transports as a gasoline additive in small household appliances and in chemical products. By increasing the oxygen content of the fuel it ensures the efficiency of the combustion of the fuel, reduces harmful exhaust and is an environmentally friendly alternative to carcinogenic substances.
Biogas is a gaseous mixture which is produced from organic waste in the absence of oxygen as a result of fermentation. It is colorless, odorless, lighter than air and burns with a brilliant blue flame. The wastes are getting eliminated in the manufacturing process of biogas and then are converted into organic fertilizer, which is a kind of waste recycling. The biomass gasification is a process in which Biomass is converted fuel gas.
